7-Figure Lesson: You Are Enough

by LaTisha Styles  - September 16, 2024

Six days of posting short-form videos, and guess what? I’m finally figuring out how to balance my personal brand with a full-time job.

Transitioning from entrepreneur to intrapreneur has been challenging, but I think I’m finally finding my rhythm.

The hardest part? Figuring out what content to post.

I still consider myself a content creator, but my content used to be designed for one purpose: selling. Mostly, I sold action—inspiring my audience to believe in themselves, take action, and pursue their desires.

When I started my current job, I wasn’t sure what my voice should be. Am I still inspiring? Am I still an entrepreneur?

What box do I fit in now?

7-Figure Lesson: You Are Enough

The breakthrough for me was realizing this: I am enough. Whatever I want to create is worth creating. I’ve learned to stop overthinking every post and just do it.

Here’s a simple mindset shift that might help you, too: Trust that what you bring to the table is enough. If you’re feeling stuck, the best way forward is to stop overthinking and just start creating. Whether it’s imperfect or polished, the act of creating consistently will help you find your voice.

Take Action: What’s one thing you’ve been holding off on posting because you’re unsure? Post it today—don’t wait for it to be perfect!

How I Organized My Content Strategy

To get comfortable with my new content approach, I structured it into two main verticals:

  1. Personal Brand: This is where I reflect on my journey, share lessons learned, and give insights on personal growth. I use platforms like IG, Threads, TikTok, and, of course, the 7-Figure Weekly newsletter for this content.
  2. You’ve Got Clients® (Business Brand): This is my work-focused brand. I help people understand how to get clients, and this also ties directly into what I do at my day job (helping a SaaS company acquire clients). I focus on sharing insights on LinkedIn since it aligns with my role.

What I realized is that even though I don’t have my own services to sell anymore, I’m still selling action. I’m still here to inspire people to take control of their own outcomes, whether that’s through growing their own business or building something within a company.

I still have the same desire to inspire, which is why I keep writing on my personal blog—even when there’s no immediate monetary reward.

Lessons Learned From Cut30

I recently completed the August cohort of Cut30, and it was a game-changer for me. If you’re looking to clarify your content strategy, I highly recommend it! Here are my top three takeaways:

  1. Reps matter: The more you post, the better you get. Stop worrying about whether each post is perfect; just post the content. Repetition is the only way to improve.
  2. Test and learn: You’ll never know what works until you put it out there. Experiment with different formats, styles, and platforms to see what resonates.
  3. Cut ruthlessly: Anything that can be cut, should be cut. Clear and concise content works best, both for clarity and pacing. Don’t be afraid to cut out the fluff.

I’ve found a format that I enjoy, which is creating “____ with me” vlog-style videos for my personal brand. It allows me to be authentic while staying true to my creative voice.

Take Action: If you’re struggling to create, try using time you’d normally spend scrolling to make quick edits. The more you create, the better you’ll understand what works for you.

Looking Forward: What I Focused on This Week

If you’re anything like me, staying organized across different projects can feel like a juggling act. I use ClickUp to keep everything in line, but some weeks are quieter than others—especially when I’m prepping for big things (like travel in September). Here’s what I worked on this week:

Personal Brand: Posted 6 short-form videos and wrote this edition of the 7-Figure Weekly.

It’s been a quiet week overall since I spent most of it in Chicago, but I’ve started viewing my life as footage. I’m heavily using this tripod, and I’m thinking of doing an unpacking video of what’s in my creator kit. Let me know if you’d be interested!

Final Thoughts:
Whatever phase you’re in—whether you’re building your personal brand, working full-time, or somewhere in between—remember, you are enough. Keep creating, stay organized, and don’t be afraid to share what you’ve learned along the way.

As always I appreciate your feedback. You can text me at 404-410-0779 or DM me on IG to chat.

Until next time,

Tish
