This year was my first year attending the Military Influencer Conference. I wanted to go last year, which was the first year that they had it, but I couldn’t make the dates work. Fortunately I made it this year. And even better I was able to present on one of my favorite topics, marketing!
The Military Influencer Conference brings together hundreds of spouses, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and influencers united by a passion for the military.
As a military spouse, I was there not only representing for my husband, but also for myself as an influencer. This year, the conference was held in Orlando at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. We also took some free time to head over to the ICON Orlando.
I had a chance to meet Moni Jefferson founder of The MilSpouse Creative. She even co-hosted a military spouse pajama party! (I clearly forgot my pajamas but I’ll remember to bring them next year.)
I also had a chance to meet in person Michelle Volkmann of NextGen MilSpouse. I’ve followed both of them online for years and it was great to finally meet in person.
Even though this was my first year speaking at the Military Influencer Conference I hope it is not my last. I truly enjoyed connecting with everyone. There’s a special language that military families speak and it’s always nice to speak with others who immediately understand.
If you are connected to the military and you are an influencer, entrepreneur, or want to become one, join us this coming year in Washington, DC! I’ll see you there!
